Espn Shop has Robiskie right now but in a few days you'll be able to get any of the major players from Ohio State on HangOnSloopy.com the official team shop's website.

Since you Buckeye people are so into football tradition and history, I thought some of y'all might be curious to know why wearing our white jerseys during home games is considered "traditional."
This is how the LSU Athletic Dept. explains it:
"The tradition originated when LSU won its first national championship in 1958. Head coach Paul Dietzel had a habit of tinkering with the uniform every year. In 1958, he chose to wear white jerseys for LSU?s home games, and the Tigers subsequently won the national championship. A superstitious man, Dietzel didn?t change the uniform after that season."
Look at LSU's uniform in 1958, as worn by Billy Cannon in these photos below. Notice how it's pretty much the exact same jersey that we wear today, 49 years later. The only major difference is that the numbers (on the shoulders) are above the stripes on the current jersey and below the stripes on the 1958 jersey. In other words, we still pretty much wear the exact same jersey worn by the 1958 team that won LSU's first national championship.

Thanks And yes, we still wear the pink panties as well as the matching bras under our uniforms, if that's something you like to fantasize about.

Here's a great piece by the Columbus Dispatch (2006) that traces the history of Ohio State's uniforms, and shows some examples of what it looked like over the years. It also explains how Ohio State choose scarlet and gray in the first place.
The Columbus Dispatch - Local/State
After 10 years (1957 to 1967) of looking similar to Nebraska and constantly changing the color of the helmet, the legendary 1968 Buckeye team adopted the uniforms and the helmet that are basically the same as those that Ohio State wears today.

Anyone know if they are coming out with a #28 jersey with the bowl patch? I can find 17, 33, and 80 but not 28. Greenies for a link to Beanie with patch.
