he missed 5 games this season so that hampered his efforts a bit. he's a clutch guy and probably shouldn't be taken lightly

I'm aware he was injured, and I think he's good. But the usual SEC hype machine makes this kid sound AMAZING, when really, he's average. |

Yeah 5 games off hurt his stats this year. The biggest thing about Doucet is not the stats but he is a gamer. He is very dependable when the game is on the line. Early had 770 yards in last year's campaign playing behind a 1st round draft pick Dwayne Bowe with 990 yards.
remember, do not use 1,000 yards as a benchmark for how good LSU's receivers or backs really are but to illustrate you how good hester is, he is over 1000 yards sharing the majority of carries with 3 other running backs. |

I don't care what an LSU fan says about running up the gut against Dorsey and their DTs...I know it's hard. But it'll likely be worse if we go wide of tackle much. Yeah, it's gonna be hard, but if we win, it'll be because we were able to run between the tackles more that outside of them IMO.
