From the more and more that we hear it is sounding like Washington may have been the offender, whatever the infraction was, and Clifford may have found himself wrong place, wrong time.

Don't be too quick to judge Washington. This was released a short time ago.

Just curious where this is from? Everyone else is reporting the Washington suspension including the Dispatch, as well as the insiders here that, trust me, are in the know.

Don't know when these guys were actually suspended, but our last practice before the break for Christmas was on Wednesday. So these guys have barely two weeks to prepare as starters.
This will hurt us, but Vern and Cam will decide how much it hurts us. Hopefully, very very little.

Yup, lots of static right now on the boards. Some are holding on to the hope that DW will not be suspended. Within reason, I really do not care what he did. I want him to play if it is possible.

Most of it is coming from Gene Smiths comments today that it is too early to comment on the suspensions. Meaning, they are not 100% sure that they are out for the game yet. |
