You said pushover...we are just stating the facts...and they don't lie

If you struggle taking criticism, then you need to not be at Ohio State or not be playing the game of football.

No, just like a guy who's never been in this type of game before.

Respect has to be earned. 1 SEC title & 1 win over the team w/ the worst bowl streak does not grant that level of respect.
You chose the metric, and are now upset when that focus shines very favorably on the other coach.

go back and read the original post, I never used the word resume. and I also said that Ohio State would have an advantage in this category. I also said I don't think it's as big of an advantage that a lot of people would like to believe.
Those "numbers" that you keep quoting won't have any more of an impact on the game than Ohio State being 0-8 against SEC teams in bowl games.
The point of the thread was simply as coaches how do they match up. I have said MULTIPLE times that I think Tressel is the best coach in the country. So why would numbers supporting my own opinion upset me?
The only thing I have said at any point in this thread is that Miles is a very underrated coach by most of the rest of the country, a notion that has been reinforced by the general attitude that Ohio State fans have posted those "numbers" with. Fortunately for him and for us he has a great opportunity to shut the naysayers up for good on the 7th. I'm confident he will do a great job in preparing this team for a championship game against a great opponent.

I'd hardly call that "bulletin board material".

I don't think anyone is saying Miles is a pushover, but when you post a "Miles vs. Tressel" thread on a Buckeye board, you'd better be expecting than most will give Tressel a significant advantage.

Let's expand this point. Tressel has essentially three full seasons' worth of post-season experience: 34 games in which he is 27-7 (23-5 in I-AA playoffs, 4-2 in I-A bowls), including a still-standing record of 15 straight I-AA playoff wins that was among an amazing 22-1 stretch. Oh yeah, this is his ninth national title game since in 17 seasons.

So if you already know that Tressel is the better coach, why bring it up?
