Sorry, but that gets old...it embarrasses me as a fan and a graduate of the school.
With that in mind, Cowherd is obviously rattling the chains here...and of course the predictable tOSU fans are biting and complaining. Cowherd went from having a debatable point to saying tOSU is just not a good team. We lost to PSU and Texas...straight up. No excuses, nothing. We got beat. However, when Cowherd starts railing on a below-average Michigan team, his intention becomes obvious.
I'm not biting.
Its time to get some thicker skin. Games are settled on the field not on some radio show or on Sportscenter. Let them rattle on...I'll let the pads do the talking.

What he said.
And to add, it's one thing to talk about ranked teams in the human polls but let's take a hypothetical case and consider the ramifications. Let's say that the Big Ten is the toughest conference. In fact let's say that the top 10 teams in the country are all from the Big Ten. Now let's say that they are relatively equal in ability, perhaps separated by a total of five points.
In that case, we know that home field advantage will play a big role and many of these teams will have as many as four losses. Consequently, none of them will be ranked in the top 20.
The computer rankings, on the other hand, consider the way these teams played against OOC teams and the subsequent performance of these teams.
My point is made by this extreme case. The computer rankings are a much better estimator of performance.
So, I respectfully disagree with statements that we haven't played tough opponents because they aren't in the Top 20. They were in the human polls when we beat 'em and they are in the computer polls now.
Ohio State played one of the three toughest schedules any team faced and you can see that in any of the major computer ratings. We should be comfortable in that and leave a guy like Cowherd alone so he can eat more humble pie later.

I would not even say that ND is better than OSU at this point...
Can you believe I just said that! WOW!

Just look at his face and tell me he's nothing but a chump little bitch.
I didn't hear him talking about the bucks either yesterday or today, all I caught was his little spiel about how the gonzaga-msu game was the best thing ever, and it cracked me up, because if you watched the game and saw the sportscenter highlight of it, you could tell that all he saw was the sportscenter highlight.
But yeah, there are enough stupid email-writing buckeye fans that it makes us super easy targets. Picking on buckeye fans is like picking on the kid with the shortest temper, just because it's funny to see them explode. Tibor had it down to a science for a while.

The Bowl game will settle all of this, and Colin will admit he is wrong if that is the case. He's extremely reasonable.

and extremely unreasonable during a debate. This is the first time it's become personal for buckeye fans, so now everyone is upset about it.
He's just like Bill O'Reilly, any time someone has a different opinion he cuts them off, tells them they are stupid and that if they were an adult/mature they would agree with him.
He's a tool, and can be entertaining in short amounts. He's very smart, but he rarely opts to express his good viewpoints in a non-combative manner.

cowhered has always been sports-radio's version of Bill O'Reilly. I have never heard him field a call from an opposing viewpoint without mocking it, cutting them off, and treating them with complete disrespect, regardless of the intelligence of the comment (both in subject and how it was expressed).

Ohio State fans are now known around the country as the crazy [censored]ers that call and send e-mails to everyone who doesn't talk the buckeyes up enough.....well, it could be worse. We could be known as fans of the team that loses to Ohio State at the end of November every year.
