Okay. Here's my laundry list of blame. Pick one.
1) I made a miscalculation on the calendar. My daughter was born in 2002, and my son will be born in 2008. Thus, it wasn't this year that we are to win the NC. It's this upcoming season.
2) The Buckeyes were up 10-0, then my wife came back with Pizza Hut pizza. I knew I shouldn't have eaten that shit.
3) A colleague gave me a handful of the Buckeye desert candies. I took them home, and my daughter wouldn't eat one.
Thus, you can blame my entire family (all the way down to my unborn son not being born in 2007).

I don't worry too much about criticism because if you're not tough enough to handle criticism, then you better get out of this game, because there's a whole lot of people that have interest in this game. And there's a whole lot of people that don't really have much understanding of what it takes to be good at this game but yet love to have opinions. It's all on my mom, she watched the game with me. When we won the NC in 2002 she stayed in the hotel room taking me down to school while my dad and I went downstairs to B-dubs, we started playing OK again when she went to bed. Her aura of doubt is what I'm blaming it on.
