Not that I could find.
From wiki:
"The NCAA does not keep individual statistics for safeties. Three Division 1-A teams have scored three safeties in a game: Arizona State in 1996; North Texas in 2003; and Bowling Green in 2005. In Div 1AA, UMass in 2007 scored only 6 points in a game, from three safeties against Rhode Island. UMass had also scored three safeties in a game against Albany in 2005, a Division I-AA record."
So if 3 is the most anyone has gotten, a touchdown alone would result in a tie. For the intelligent use of safeties, see West Virginia/Pitt 2007, or Iowa/PSU in 04.

On defense: stuff the middle. Our front seven have to get off blocks so we can shrink the running lanes and be ready from the backside. I don't care how many McKnights they have if we can stuff them up the middle Sanchez is going to have a rough night.

What's up everyone, first time poster here.
I agree that on offense it's all about Wells. It seemed the times where we struggled last season (parts of Wisconsin game, Illinois, LSU) were when we inexplicably went away from Beanie and too much pressure was put on Boeckman to win the game (2 TDs, 6 INTs in the last 3 games). Beanie is, in my opinion, the best player on the team. He needs the ball in his hands. A lot.
On defense, I think it starts with pressure on the QB. If there was one flaw we had on defense last season, it's that besides Gholston, we really didn't pressure the QB that well; at least not enough. That has to change this year and with Wilson coming back, we look to be headed in the right direction.
We also need to take care of the run, which we usually do a great job with. Since Dwayne Jarrett left, USC hasn't had a WR that really strikes fear into a secondary, especially not a secondary that will be as experienced as ours. If we can contain their RBs (similar to how we contained Menenhall last season) and force Sanchez into quick decisions in the passing game, we'll be in good shape.

I think there was a team one year that had nothing but extra points. No TDs, FGs, or Safeties, just extra points.
I think they won something lke 11 - 10.
I'm pretty sure it was aginast scUM.

No, one extra point was blocked. 10-10 tie.

Didn't they go for two at the end to win it though?

Almost. It was a failed drop kick.

I noticed an enormous Ohio State flag at the end of someone's driveway as I was driving through the Valley (or just south of it) in L.A. recently. Bet those folks are football fans. Wonder if they're BP memebers...
It was a warm and fuzzy experience; an Ohio State flag was one of the last things I expected to see on a rare trip into L.A.
