Locker was very unfortunate to play
OSU, UCLA and USC in successive weeks last year. UCLA doesn't have near the defense of the other 2, but clearly took a page out of
OSU's playbook and physically beat Locker up.
Having seen it work in 2 games in a row, USC knew just what to do. Locker stood in pretty well under the circumstances, but after 3 straight weeks of being beaten to death, he wasn't quite the same the rest of the year.
I'd like to hear him comment on the coverage skills of the LBs. Li'l Animal's interception where he dropped back when Locker thought he was blitzing was amazing. Most players would've had the ball whiz right by their head. JL's hands were quick enough to make the pick. Then their was the pick-off of the shovel pass.
