Boeckman got flat out blasted twice against YSU while he was releasng the ball and popped right up. He also got drilled several other times like that during the course of the season and I never saw him groggy or slow to get up. That is not taking anything away from Krenzel at all...just saying that Boeckman handles the hits as well as Krenzel did, not saying he took as many.

Several people I've spoken with have speculated that Todd's late-season swoon may have been a result of some of the shots that he took. There specific reasoning was technical, as they were medical professionals. On top of that, the specifics were highly speculative; so I won't repeat them here.
I will observe though, that after receiving a concussion near the end of his final season, Quinn Pitcock was never the same again. He played, but he wasn't anything near what he had been previously. Any connection between this and Todd's performance is purely speculative and should not be taken as a rumor, much less fact.

With Mili's favorite player transferring(Henton), does this open the door for
Orhian Johnson playing QB?
OJ's film at QB looks pretty good and he looks the part of a spread QB.

There is no competition. Boeckman and Pryor will be like Leak and Tebow. Pryor will be a great 'spark' to our offense

Don't tell him what? That he won't be running any change of pace QB packages this year?
These are three separate competitions imo... Bauserman has a clear edge at #1, Pryor #2, and there will be a battle for #3.
1. 2008 2nd String QB
2. 2008 Package QB
3. 2009 Starter QB
Perhaps JT doesn't end up using #2 all that much, but I don't see Bauserman running those packages instead of Pryor in 08... barring injury or garbage time. If Pryor's not ready, I see a steady diet of Boeckman. If he is, he'll be used sparingly, but will still have to beat out Bauserman for starter duties next offseason.
