I think its because the last two games were (WIS VERY close) and purdue was fairly close as well. If u have a starter named; you don't put in your back up in a close game. Just not good for the teams psychi

Todd plays well when the oline gives him time... Pryor even with his mobility couldn't escape the pass rush on Saturday. What do you think TB would've done?

Have to agree, many plays Pryor had no time at all. I think it got to the point he became rattled. Have to wonder does anyone know what a screen pass is?

I'd like to see OSU's staff break down film of the Red River Rivalry and borrow some of those plays. No reason they can't run some of the dump-offs with Posey and Flash and break every fourth one for a TD. Give TP two or three reads, and if there's nothing there tuck it and go.
I think Pryor has gotten lucky on the option pitches. I thought the one in the final quarter vs Wisconsin, and one in the Purdue game were both forward laterals.

The one in the Purdue game was recorded as a forward pass, but Pryor was still behind the line of scrimmage, so no harm done.
As long as he stay behind the LOS to do it, I don't mind it because it eliminates the possibility of a fumble on a missed pitch, assuming that the officials notice that it was passed forward.
