Main problem is not the QB it's the play calling right now. As been harped on you can't just hand the ball off 2 times straight and expect a freshman to feel fine and dandy throwing for first downs on 3rd and 5. If they're going to do that to him I'd like to see Pryor just say, alright fine, then I'll just run for the damn first down.
On one side the play calling has got to get more aggressive. I understand they dont' fully trust Pryor yet, but at some point you're going to have to go no holds bared and just let him learn with trial by error. The onl thing Pryor has to do is remember what got him here. His feet is wether he likes it or not his best weapon. I'm not saying run every passing down but if nothing is open remember you're the most talented running QB in college! Get up field and get what you can because no one has the talent Pryor does. Pryor is rare in that he doesn't turn the ball over so thats extremely good, but IMO if he just took more chances with his feet he would have no problems. Vince Young for example, while an improved passer through his time, always reverted to beating teams with his legs no matter what. In every game Vince made his impact with his feet, and I believe Pryor should be the same way. The thing is I think Pryor wants to prove everyone he's a passer while ignoring his god given speed and strength running the football.
One thing is clear though this is PRYORS offense, and taking him out IMO would crush Terrelle. If Todd get's any time it better be because we're losing 49-0 or winning 49-0
