Who is going to challenge him? He's a proven starter in the Big-10 and a solid one at that while we lose both our starting guards and a couple back-ups. I haven't been impressed enough by Connor Smith to believe he can be a starter yet.
I think the o-line in '09 will look like this:
LT: Adams
LG: Boren
C: Cordle
RG: Blankenship
RT: Browning
Maybe if Shugarts develops into a great RT over his freshman season, he'll start at RT and Browning will move inside to RG but I think that's unlikely.

Interesting that you are unimpressed by Connor Smith so far, but put Blankenship over him at RG even though we haven't seen anything out of Blankenship yet. Any particular reason for the confidence in Blankenship?

Better pass blocker. And I haven't seen enough of Evan to be unimpressed by him either.  Just an FYI, I'm not putting him over Connor. Connor is a LG and Evan is a RG. That's how I see it, anyhow.
