I think Ray's biggest problem is he can't get off the line. He has speed but no one gives him cushion b/c he can't get separation when he's jammed.

Jenkins and fellow cornerback Donald Washington said sophomore receivers Dane Sanzenbacher, who averaged about a catch per game last season, and Taurian Washington, who played sparingly, are having strong springs.
The team's leading pass catcher last season, Brian Robiskie, has been hampered by an undisclosed injury.

Haven't heard any rumblings about Dane and Toro until now. Last year Dane emerged with Ray's injury. This could be a break out year for Dane and Taurian. I understand Taurian can really catch the deep ball well. Dane has great open field skills and has a knack for reading defenses. Hopefully he'll prove himself this year.
This new WR class gives the team more depth at that position, but there's no replacemnt for experience. We need Robo out there.

Yep, Sanzo - he just needs the QB to see him and it's 6. Looking for some flashes of that unique ability this season. There was a reason he made the two deep last year and it wasn't simply by default. With a year of experience, gold pants, a Big Ten ring and a NC game under his belt, it's fair to say that Dane will make an impact this season. The competition this year is keen and Dane loves to compete.

Its just now that we have some serious depth & experience at WR I'd like to see more 4 and 5 wide formations myself. Robo, Hartline, Taurian, Dane and Smalls. Perhaps Saine in the occasional slot? mixed up with some of our fantastic recruits getting in some nice PT.
We've been blessed with a multitude of talent, I just hope it gets to see the field.
