im not trying to be a prick or anything but how can you "root" against a current player?

im honestly asking and not trying to start anything because i respect you as a poster and a buckeye fan.

Well it was moreso me wanting to see Posey play because honestly I believe Posey is the most talented WR on the roster right now.

Posey is like Pryor. He's full of talent and raw in his ability. No doubt he will contribute. Don't think for a minute that Dane will take that laying down. He gets better because others on this team challenge him. They all get better. I saw video of Posey over the weekend and he seemed to have some good moves, but the gains I saw were short and he was easily stopped. Maybe it wasn't his best video. I'll reserve further comment until I can see him in Scralet and Gray.

The comments from Jenkins (an all American corner) say a lot about Dane's ability right now. That's only going to get better.

Freshmen enhance deep receiving corps

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
DeVier Posey had heard a lot about Brian Robiskie and Brian Hartline, and watched them play a few times. But this summer, as he practiced with the two starting Ohio State receivers for the first time, he gained a better appreciation.

"Those two are professionals; they are NFL receivers," Posey said. "You can really tell that those two know what they're doing, with the way they carry themselves, and the way they are in meetings -- just the whole swagger about them.
"They are professionals, and that's how I want to be one day."
Posey and Lamaar Thomas were two of the higher-rated receiver prospects in the country when the Buckeyes signed them in February. But that meant little, Thomas said, once the college gang gathered.

1. Florida
From the speed and quickness of Percy Harvin and Deonte Thompson, to the potential of Carl Moore and Riley Cooper, to the steady production of Louis Murphy, to the talented Aaron Hernandez, this group has it all. If everyone can stay healthy, which isn't a given after already losing top tight end Cornelius Ingram, this will be a devastating corps of playmakers. There are too many weapons to cover.

7. Ohio StateThe receiving corps came through as well as could be hoped for after losing Ted Ginn and Anthony Gonzalez with Robiskie and Hartline growing into a nice combination. There's plenty of experience returning with promising backups who got their feet wet last year, and two excellent tight ends in Rory Nicol and Jake Ballard an unappreciated twosome who should be used more in the passing game. This group will be held in check by the top secondaries, but there aren't a lot of them in the Big Ten. It's nitpicking, but there will be a problem is there's a rash of injuries. There's plenty of promise behind Brian Robiskie and Brian Hartline, but Dane Sanzenbacher and Taurian Washington haven't had to do it yet in a full-time role, while Small can't seem to put it all together.
