if we get pryor, would we use him like florida used tebow his first season. Especially in the big games, like against usc where they wouldnt expect to see pryor, and the next thing they know he is 30 yards down field. lol

Pryor's state championship game starts at 1:30 Eastern on many Fox Sports Networks. Check your local listings for the FSN channel in your area.

CBus it is on TW FCSA Fox Sports Atlantic and is only through subscription which stinks. If someone can keep an up date here in a thread or knows of an online broadcast I would appreciate it.

Hid 61 yard td run was just a qb sneak from under center. He went untouched and blazed by everyone. Simply amazing.
Their last td before the half was set up by a 50-some yard Pryor run. The announcer said before halftime(and b4 the 50 yard run), that it may be blastphemy, but he may pick another player for Jeanette's player of the game. Uh, they may have some other good players, but he is so clearly heads and shoulders above everyone else on the field that you could never even think about anyone else. His passing needs work but his running is unbelievable. He doesn't look like he's running fast, until he blows by everyone on the field. He runs smooth and fast. He had a bunch of tackles on defense, too. He was playing in the secondary. |

I got to go to the game. Pryor was awesome in limited touches. He finished with 166 yards rushing on 12 carries, scoring twice. He also completed 5 of 6 passes for 81 yards and 2 more scores. On defense, he had 2 forced fumbles, tipped a pass that got intercepted (almost caught it one-handed) and he had a vicious hit on one of Beaver Falls' receivers. My Dad isn't easily impressed by HS stars, but he agreed that Pryor was "as advertised."
The only bad thing was that Jeannette crushed Beaver Falls so badly that Pryor didn't get much action in the second half at all. They did all this damage against a team that was giving up 8 points per game. I was obviously impressed with his elusiveness. He had several plays where you wondered how he escaped. We were actually surprised the one time that he didn't escape and got sacked. He made a few throws after he had been flushed from the pocket and still had his head up. He didn't throw deep more than maybe once, but he showed plenty of arm strength on the one he did throw deep (just barely caught out of bounds). As for his running ability... ![]() For anyone who's still worried about his weight, don't worry. I heard somebody tell him to start eating more, so I'm sure he'll bulk up in time for fall... I attached a few pics I took. Beat that, Winslow ![]() Last edited by bucknut11; 11-24-2007 at 01:11 AM. |

I am telling you, when he stood up, I was shocked at his physique (or lack thereof). That is why I made my initial comment about putting on weight. He is FAR from thick. No way he weighs 235. IF he does, then he could go to 255 easily. I stick by my "visuals" not an opinion. When have you seen him in person? |

said of Pryor prior to Pryor taking the Tigers apart.

BTW, If the kid needs to add weight, I'm sure it will naturally occur. Is he 18 yet? |

). He could weigh less than 235 lbs like you say(if I had to guess, I'd say he's about 225-230), but the way you describe him you'd think he was a twig. I see a kid who already appears to have roughly the same muscle mass of Vince Young, who himself weighs around 235 lbs, and think putting on 20 lbs of weight would be excessive. Also, it's clear you've misinterpreted two things I've said: A) I didn't say visuals don't matter. I was saying from what we've seen of Terrelle, our opinions shouldn't differ this much. I think we both have a pretty good idea of what Terrelle looks like, but our opinions of what he should look like are vastly different. B) I don't remember saying he is thick. The closest thing I remember saying to that is "his arms look pretty solid". We don't want him looking like a Daunte Culpepper, Jamarcus Russell, Ben Roethlisberger, etc. We want him to keep that agility and speed. My overall point: He will naturally gain some weight as his body matures but if I were a betting man, I would wager he spends his college career weighing less than 240 lbs. |
