Jeannette beats Karns City - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

For the first time this season, Jeannette's football team was held under 40 points. It didn't matter.
That's because for the 13th time, No. 1 Jeannette invoked the mercy rule on an opponent, defeating previously undefeated Karns City (12-1), 35-6, Saturday in a PIAA Class AA quarterfinal game at Clarion University's Memorial Stadium.
In the process, Jeannette reached 770 points for the season, breaking the state record set last year by Southern Columbia (755).

i think WVU losing tonight is a good sign for pryor not to go there. the coaching can't be good if you lose when you are a 4 td favorite.

Wilmington boasts Pitt recruit Chris Burns, an elite RB who has over 2,000 yards and 36 TD's this year. Should be interesting.

I don't think Pryor will base his decision off of one game, but that was just ugly. Now he knows what happens at WVU when a determined, tenacious defense plays them for a whole game and never lets up. That's two games on the season they had no business losing.
At Ohio State, he'll play much tougher foes both in and out of conference, and he'll learn to prevail and win at the high est level. He's a smart kid, he'll realize this eventually if he hasn't already |

I don't think 1 game will change TP's mind, but it may contribute to the many factors he's considering, even if only subconsciously.
I think our chances with Terrelle are based more on OUR team, our coaches and the other '08 recruits. |

No it's not a trick question, as Pete Carroll is an exceptional coach who had a bad game. Rich Rodriguez is not a great coach, but he's not a scrub.
