Hah! Sounds to me like they are buying into this ruse hook-line and sinker then. If you were Terrelle Pryor and everyone around you continually tried to second guess your future for you wouldnt you want some kind of release?

By saying it might not be Ohio State he completely shuts most of those people up that are making his decision for him. The guy needs a break. I'm sure he has a great idea of where he is going by now. Oregon may be a fine school but I'd just leave it at that. People always want to be the one to break the story and will run with just about anything. I find this particularly amusing. Good for Terrelle!

With the Semi finals for Pryor and Jeanette at 1PM today does anybody know if it'll be on directv or otherwise? I'm guessing it's a comcast only thing but I can't find it anywhere.

We have discussed this at length over the years, and we have always decided to keep the format as is. In most threads, there is little "speculation" to interfere with the "actual news"; threads like Pryor's are the obvious exceptions to the rule.

I would suggest checking out our affiliated site, RecruitingPlanet, where we have separate threads for "actual news" and "speculation" / "discussion". Of course, we have a Pryor "news" thread over on RP, as well as several "discussion" threads.

I'm just making a point as far as the type of offense he plays in. Even at 6', White could still be a good prospect, but the fact that he ran the ball just as much as he threw it for the past 4 years may have hurt his chances developing into a good NFL QB. of course there is alot to take with that, but still.

Troy came to tOSU as an "athlete" and got drafted as a QB. White went to wvu as an athlete/QB (I believe) and will likely to to the NFL as a slash type player in the mold of Randle El, IMO. That speaks a lot to QB development between the two schools. Tress has proven he will change the system based on talent, I don't think Rodriguez has.
There is no doubt in my mind that Terrelle knows Tress coaches to his talent, not through "promises" but through practice. I agree with Terrelle that the current tOSU system would not fit his mold. However, a variation of the tOSU Troy Smith era system would be very promising
I'm smelling a smoke screen from TP, trying to build some drama. He has earned theat right IMO based on his status as the top HS player in the Nation and seeing that moment taken away from other recent tOSU recruits on the BN board. While this is only football, the announcement is a very big moment is these young mens life. It is an opportunity to begin to make a name for themselves and bring attention to their schools and hometowns.

Couldn't agree more...the kid is having some fun...let him enjoy his time and rest assured that he will be a Buckeye come February.

Very well put, and very true!! Terelle seems like a smart kid, I'm hoping he thinks the same way you do. And the fact that Terelle will already have talent around him should help him develop faster playing at osu. We'll see what his decision is, but like you said, it looks like a smokescreen to me.

Yeah, but what's the point of making participating in forums if we can't put a little suspense in it. If we discussed things only when official decisions were made, there would be barely nothing in here.
