One thing that was pointed out in an article I read was that, Tyrelle decided not to select tOSU on signing day, just in case his HS BB team had to play in PSU's arena for the State Championship, which they did. The thought was that it would keep the heckling down if PSU fans thought they had the slightest chance of landing Pryor. If this was the case, it did work. Hence, now he will be announcing this week. I think we all have a good idea where to! ;-)

I'm pretty sure they just said on 1460am that he had narrowed the field to 2 (OSU/Mich) but still hasn't officially committed yet. It's only a matter of time before he's sporting the S&G.

How about using Pryor as kick returner? With that part of special teams being ordinary last year, does anybody else think that he could help out there?

Could he help? Yes. But how would you feel if he blew out his knee returning a kick? I'd rather have him learning the offense in practice and holding a clip board during games than learning and playing special teams. He has plenty on his plate learning to be a big time college QB.

Well, I'll give you credit for originality.

Here is a short article on two-sport athlete "what-if's". Pryor is mentioned.

SI.com - Writers - Andy Staples: Two-sport stars would change landscape - Monday March 17, 2008 3:44PM

Quote:
In such a world, the college choice of quarterback prospect Terrelle Pryor would be even more complicated. The 6-foot-6 Pryor, an athletic wing forward on the court, received basketball scholarship offers from USC and others before deciding to focus on football. Pryor said Saturday he intends to sign with a school -- either Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon or Penn State -- later this week. He also said he has narrowed his options to two schools. The best guess is that he will pick between Michigan and Ohio State, but if hoops were factored into the equation, Pryor's list might look different.
This is about as dumb as the whole Luginbill "schools should be scared of Oregon" thing.

If the question is will he be sucessful if put there? then yes he will with his talent you could put him anywhere and expect sucess out of thim. But wehave plenty of guys back there now between Flash,Saine,Small,Hartline...,to do that duty.

Can't wait for the day TP announces so we can put all this stuff behind us and get ready for the Spring Game and all the progress reports from the practices to see how our '09 squad is shaping up.

I hear he's a great punter too. He long snaps to himself and then rips off a 60 yarder.
