And in my mind I am hoping this is a set up for USC. I agree all his plays are draws, options, slants and short throws. Now it might be because JT is trying to bring him around slowly or it might be that he is setting up 'SC. Imagine their shock after seeing film on TP and being told by the coaching staff that this "kid doesn't throw deep" only to see TP roll out on an option play and pull up and throw a bomb downfield......

None of this is a setup for USC. Two years in a row I read about how we were setting up Texas. Tressel will break out the "Shot Ginn" for Texas and they won't know what hit them. Coach is trying to get his team ready for USC...That's it. |

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Pryor take about 35-40% of the snaps next weekend. His multiple dimensions as a thrower and passer may help with bringing some things to the table USC hasn't seen yet. Also lining him up at a WR position with Boeckman under center and then running the play Pittspuke ran in the Superbowl (I THINK it was in the superbowl) would be absolutely amazing.

I'm sure this has been said before, but there is nothing I enjoy more than watching this kid run. It's so effortless looking and makes it look like he isn't even trying. I can't wait to see him mature and develop into a complete player.

We need to be more creative with some of our explosive talent I think. Pryor doesn't need to have a whole drive to himself you know? Just throw him in to make a run or hell even to just hand the ball off because its atleast another threat the defense has to worry about. I think we need to smartly imploy Pryor, Pose, and Thomas into this offense because those are gamebreakers which we're lacking outside of Beanie right now. Shot Ginn with Thomas in the place of Teddy would be a look I would give. Pryor just in the game to hand the ball off to beanie would be fine as well. Because while Pryor may not actually have the ball he may freeze a defensive end or something to spring Beanie or whoever has the ball.
Gata find a way to get some of these players in space with the ball somehow some way. Because we just can't keep handing it off to beanie and expecting him to win us ball games. |

I wouldn't worry about us needing to be creative with Terrelle just yet. I am sure we will see more of that in the coming weeks, particularly against SC. We are playing it ridiculously conservative with TP right now and I'm sure there are many reasons for that...once again, i.e. USC and co.

I'd just like to see Pryor Randomly come in the game for a snap here and there rather than substitute for the whole series. If its 2nd and 4 next week why not give pryor a quick option with beanie or MoW? Then if he messes up and moves it back a couple or maybe just gains 2 yards you can then either put Boeckman in or just have Pryor stay in for another down. I think we will see more spot action from Pryor next week. Atleast I'd hope so because having someone of that capability on the bench all game long will make zero sense. Find a way to atleast get him involved because he's one of those players that could possibly bust you a 30 yard run against an aggressive defense like USC
