I hope people are paying attention to the Baylor/UCONN game tonight. Baylor's freshman QB Robert Griffin is where we want Terrelle Pryor to be. He scrambles very well without losing downfield priorities. He has a great arm with touch. When he takes off he's decisive. Terrelle needs to be all of those things starting tomorrow. He doesnt have to be a world beater, but efficient without the mistakes. The defense is good enough to hold him up the rest of the way so he just has to keep the offense moving and take advantage of field position.

He's also got to get Robiskie back into the gameplan. Without Beanie, Robiskie is our next most explosive weapon in this offense, except for Pryor himself, and he needs to use him.

Griffin is a great example. Very exciting player to watch. Dynamic. And Griffin is pretty skinny.
And Robo is not our next most explosive player. That tag goes to Ray Small! Ray will have a big day, tomorrow!

Ray may be faster but Robo is a legitimate playmaker. We'll see if Ray can continue to develop.

Watching BTN this evening one of the announcers said from their meeting with the coaches for their game prep they got the feeling that Terrelle would be the starter tomorrow.

I think it has been said before but I don't think Robo is 100% healthy and his shoulder is giving him some problems. I hope he can break out this week because Robo is a huge playmaker and we need to see our QB, whichever one it may be, airing it out downfield to Robo because we all know this is where he excels.

I like the fact that one of the tags for this thread is "bamf".
I believe it describes Mr. Pryor these days.
I truly feel a sense of security with him at the helm, regardless of his inexperience.
The way he's playing as a true freshman has helped me look past last week and towards a very, very bright future for this squad.

Columbus -- The Terrelle Pryor era began with a nine play 60-yard scoring drive and ended with a 28-10 victory Saturday afternoon for Ohio State over Troy from the Sun Belt Conference.
Pryor, a true freshman, finished the game 10 of 16 passing for 139 yards and four touchdowns with another 66 yards on 14 carries added on.
The Buckeyes took a tenuous 14-10 halftime lead, all courtesy of the 6-6, 235-pound freshman, Pryor. His initial drive ended with a perfectly thrown 13-yard touchdown pass to tight end Rory Nicol in the back corner of the end zone. His second score capped a 4-play, 37-yard drive with a scrambling 39-yard touchdown from Pryor to a wide open Brian Hartline.
Troy, which scored on a field goal between the two Ohio State touchdowns, then stunned the Buckeyes with a 45-yard reception and run by tailback Jerrell Jernigan, breaking three tackles along the way, cut OSU' lead down to 14-10 with 1:49 left in the half.
Pryor (59 yards rushing, 79 passing at the half) then showed his true freshman side. After marching the Buckeyes from their own 20 to Troy's 28, he suffered a scrambling third-down 16-yard sack that took OSU out of field goal range. His Hail-Mary interception ended the half, keeping the Trojans well within range of an upset.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Jeannette's Terrelle Pryor became the first freshman to start at quarterback since Art Schlichter did in 1978 today for The Ohio State University against Troy University.
Pryor, who led Jeannette to WPIAL and PIAA Class AA titles in both football and basketball, tossed four touchdown passes, two in the first half, as Ohio State defeated Troy University, 28-10, today at Ohio Stadium.
Pryor completed 10 of 16 passes for 139 yards. He also rushed for 67 yards. Senior quarterback Todd Boeckman was in on only two offensive snaps the first half and was booed by the more than 102,900 fans when he threw an incomplete pass.
