Nice, very "to the point" points. TP is undefeated as the starting QB here. That's the only stat that anyone should be concerned with.

TP absolutely loves Posey. If Posey is on the field and we throw, seems like it goes Posey's direction every time. Not sure if that means Posey is always open or TP isn't going through his progressions.
He is most certainly not a run-first QB. I think this is good for the future of the team. Definitely not for the current team, but his athletic ability will be there when his awareness and QB smarts come. He's going to be special. The kid is a freshman, and he's only made a couple mistakes. One meaningful turnover. Impressive.

Exactly. The impressive thing is that he's comparable to Vince Young, but he doesn't turn the ball over nearly as much. He doesn't run nearly as much and his YPC is low because he takes so many sacks, but he's doing his best not to turn it over.
When he starts to learn to pass quickly and make quick decisions, he will be much better and he can choose whether to run or pass right away.
Also, I find it strange that he seems to jog more than anything else when he runs. I think he is much faster than some realize (as fast or faster than Young), but again he seems very hesitant when he runs. If he'd go at full speed all the time he'd have 2-3 more TDs rushing.

Eventually though you just say '[censored] it' and write the damn thing and it actaully seems pretty good. THat's where TP is and needs to just play.
THat make any sense?

Yes, He's a perfectionist. He needs to trust his instincts and and let it go. Some of his hesitation comes from his inexperience. He's trying to write a flawless novel when a rough draft term paper will do. One game at a time sounds trivial, but the pressure to win every one is immence, especially as a freshman. May Terrelle is trying too hard to please.
Here's a couple of quotes from The Winners Manual that seemed to fit.

Vince Young was never a true pocket passer and will never be one, but he is successful as heck. I don't understand why we are neutralizing Pryor's strengths and accentuating his weakness at this point. Doesn't make a lot of sense. If we just focus on the running game with Pryor and Wells, and mix in with playaction, I can guarantee that would be a million times better than our current offense.

Because Jim Tressel is about more than just winning games. He wants not to accentuate players weaknesses, but to force them to become more complete, well rounded players. Just my two cents, but I believe it's the same reason he has M.Wells run up the middle so much when he's in there. The kid breaks a few of those, and his confidence skyrockets. He tries to force the players to develop their overall games to (hopefully) the point that what was a weakness is eventually another part of thier overall game.
What good is it if Pryor wins every game doing what he already can, once we need his weakness to win a game.
I'm sure this theory isn't perfect, but I do truly believe it.

well personally the way i see it, (every game is basically training for pryor, thats why hes in 100% of the time) when we have a comfortable lead on a team we are dominating on defense, as a coach you should take advantage and help pryor become a complete QB and build on his "weaker" passing game.
Its the same reasons we throw our 2nd string in when we have a heck of a lead. So they can have "training games" before the reins are handed over to them.
