I think it eventually comes down to tOSU and PSU. Playing time at PSU will be the big draw. Tom Bradley is also recruiting Terrelle.

Saw Pryor play tonight...Jeanette won 52-12. Pryor is as advertised...man amongst boys. Had four touchdowns, two running and two passing and one rushing td callled back on a hold. Also almost ran back a punt return. On defense he lined up at DE, LB and S and was impressive at all three.

I was at the game to and saw Steve Helwagen taking notes and videotaping some live action. My notes from watching Pryor play are that if they designed a run for him on every play that he could average 15 yards a carry all night (at least against that defense). Running - the best way to describe him is that he glides, with long effortless strides. It doesn't even look like he runs as hard as he can, but yet he flies by everyone. Passing - definitely slings the ball and his elbow drops as many of his game passes floated, but he showed great arm strength in warm ups. He looked tough at DE as he showed amazing quickness off the edge.

Pryor gets a lot of help in Jeannette's 52-12 win against Washington

But Pryor certainly did plenty in his two-plus quarters of play. He completed 7 of 9 passes for 147 yards and threw for two touchdowns. He carried the ball 8 times for 60 yards and scored two touchdowns. He had a sack on defense. And on his final play of the game, he returned a punt 54 yards. He also had a 40-yard touchdown run called back because of a penalty.

Pryor has completed 10 of 13 attempts for 254 yards and three touchdowns this season, and has rushed for 121 yards and three more scores despite being on the field for little more than what amounts to one game. He didn't play in the second half against Brownsville and only played one series in the second half against Washington.

Pryor puts on show for WHS

Just about everyone who came to Washington High School Stadium Friday wanted to see the Terrelle Pryor Show.

While those expecting a grand performance from the talented Jeannette quarterback got their wish, the standing-room-only crowd also saw something else: a Jeannette team that probably will dominate the Interstate Conference the same way it dominated the Prexies.

The game was televised across the state on the Pennsylvania Cable Network so Pryor was able to show why he is considered the top high school football player in the country. Pryor accounted for 221 yards of total offense and four touchdowns while Jeannette's defense stuffed the Prexies at every turn in a 52-12 rout.

Those who got a first-hand look at Pryor came away more than impressed.

"He's a freak," Jeannette coach Ray Reitz said.

"He's just so talented," Washington coach Bill Britton said. "He makes it look so easy."

Though Pryor has been getting a lot of attention over the last year, it was even a bit much for the shy senior last night as he was besieged by several camera crews and a number of reporters.

While the spotlight is always on him, Pryor is quick to give a lot of credit to his teammates.

"It's not just me. I get help from my linemen. They blocked perfectly today and gave me openings," Pryor said. "And all of our athletes touched the ball and made plays. ... Every game, someone else breaks out and has a great game."

It was a virtuoso performance by Pryor, who rushed for 64 yards, passed for 157 yards and added a 54-yard punt return that was brought back five yards on a penalty for a forward lateral that wasn't on the television replay.

?As a sophomore, he mostly ran around like crazy. As a junior, he started to pass more but his tendency was to run. Now, he?s settled down a little more and it?s not because he?s lost a step. He has the ability, with no effort at all, to flick the ball a long way. We saw this one pass where he threw it 55 yards the opposite way, and he made it look easy.?

Hmmm? Who does that sound like?

with top QB prospect Pat Devlin being a true freshman and supposed stud, I don't think playing time would be why Pryor would choose PSU. I think Devlin works in our favor, with Devlin being from PA. and getting all the hype I'm sure Pryor is aware of his credentials. Not that Pryor would be scared off by him but it isn't like he would walk in and become the starter....
