Had been hearing rumors about Small. But, others will step up.
We will be OK. Better than OK.
Was wondering about Shugarts possibly getting playing time at RT.
Stoneburner is a huge surprise and exciting. You can't teach size and speed. How you gonna stop this guy? You won't be able to jam him. You can try to cover him but that will be a tough match up for most CBs in college football..even those at USC.

We know the 08 class is special...

But it's a bit of an indictment on some of the other guys who have been on the roster, if they are letting true frosh with 1 week of practice under their belt, pass them on the depth chart..

Especially at the WR position.. the 07 WR class needs to step it up

Who says they're passing players up the depth chart? Nothing serious gets determined in Spring ball. Lets see what happens in August.

Could not agree more, I think the influence of that great 2002 recruiting class really helped push some of our experienced players and the whole team benefited.

Its still way early but it is never good to get into Jt's doghouse because it can sometimes be hard to get out.

Hopefully Ray can get his act together. I don't know if I consider a true frosh maybe starting at RT a good thing.....

-I have heard some junk about Small too. Hopefully he gets his house in order.

-I wouldn't be surprised if Adams were to start, he looked awesome at the Army AA game and his practice videos were very impressive. (almost Korey Stringer impressive IMO)

-Competition- very good to have. me likey hearing that about Stoneburner. Plus thats just a great football player name.

-Boren would be a surprise and would probably add some bitter to the rivalry. (good)

If Stoneburner is that impressive, can't wait to see how DeVier stacks up against those three sophs.

With Ray apparently "in the doghouse", this apparently gives all of those guys a GREAT opportunity to step up and possibly see the field a lot when we go into a three WR set.

I would not be surprised in the least bit to see Stoneburner become our 3rd receiver. He has the size, speed, hands and athleticism that is going to cause some real havoc to opposing Defenses. Gotta love the competition at WR. It's only going to make everyone work the much harder, and the team, that much better.

I love the potential matchups with Stoneburner as a #3 receiver. Even though he is a freshman, his size and physical ability will make that a tough matchup for opponents.

I really hope Small gets it together, he has the potential to be an incredible receiver. Can anyone elaborate on what his troubles are? I understand if nobody can; I'm just curious, really.

I'm pulling for Boren to be a Buckeye. He seems like he's looking for an atmosphere that we have here in Columbus. And it would make the Game even more interesting. And he's definitely a solid lineman. Can't have too many of those.

if it's true, that sucks. he may be the best out of "block O," and like mentioned earlier, he should be able to compete for a starting job right away. hopefully it isn't something too major
