Are We Seeing The Last Buckeye Pocket Quarterback?
With Boeckman, are we seeing an end to pocket QBs at Ohio State?

I think it's using 2 incredibly gifted athletes as much as possible... And a decent amount of that for both Henton and Pryor, if/whenever they start will be in the pocket.

Tressel likes athletes at quarterback, so he can mold them into good pocket passers, who are just as good throwers as anyone else (see Troy's, what... 5 ints his senior year?) but can also scramble, run, and get out of the pocket to throw.

Fad. Not to mention the fact that a mobile QB doesn't mean he's not also a pocket passer. But, in any case.... football is cyclical. As soon as enough Ds sell out to stop the mobile QB who can't throw real well, the pocket passer will be all the rage.

Pryor is coming to OSU to learn to be an effective pocket quarterback.

Exactly. This is called developing the player so he has an opportunity at the next level. Which leads to Oh's post....

I think Tressel has a very complex, yet often times subtle system when it comes to grooming QB's. First, he puts the ball in the guy's hands. Then, he gets that guy to put the ball in the endzone. Then, he directs the guy to repeat that process as many times as he can, without making mistakes.
