Are We Seeing The Last Buckeye Pocket Quarterback?
With Boeckman, are we seeing an end to pocket QBs at Ohio State?
Or is this just imitating a temporary fad?

I think it's using 2 incredibly gifted athletes as much as possible... And a decent amount of that for both Henton and Pryor, if/whenever they start will be in the pocket.
Tressel likes athletes at quarterback, so he can mold them into good pocket passers, who are just as good throwers as anyone else (see Troy's, what... 5 ints his senior year?) but can also scramble, run, and get out of the pocket to throw.

Fad. Not to mention the fact that a mobile QB doesn't mean he's not also a pocket passer. But, in any case.... football is cyclical. As soon as enough Ds sell out to stop the mobile QB who can't throw real well, the pocket passer will be all the rage.

I think it's more Tressel getting his style of QB into the system.
That's pretty scary for the rest of the Big Ten.

Perhaps for a while, but things go in cycles in college football.
Edit - as BKB said two minutes ago.
