So who is BuckCrazy?

Why is he treated with instant credibility bordering on reverence?

Has he posted something in the past that proved to be correct?

This is coming across as more skeptical than I am. I'm genuinely looking for a reason to believe that this guy knows what he's talking about.


Further, it doesn't seem unlikely at all that this would be the approach. JT has always given a QB with experience more opportunity to change plays at the line. This takes it a level beyond that to be sure; but when was the last time that JT had a QB who will have had 6 fall camps under his belt?

Well this is the start of JT's 8th camp at OSU so I'm going to guess never.

The other day I considered posting my belief that Pryor will probably see the field in a formation that INCLUDES TB. I didn't bother posting any of my thoughts because it was idle speculation at the time.

There are numerous reasons to do this, not least of which is that it takes much of the onus OFF of Pryor. In other words, we depend on him LESS if he sees the field WITH Boeckman than without.


So to recap; one mention of the guy in a context that diminishes our dependence on him and your first reaction is that there's "too much stuff involving...".

While I wait to hear if there's any reason why I should believe this report, it's always good to know that chicken little is keeping his vigil, ever watchful of the sky.

I recall the freshman hype for AK, Pace and MoC being pretty intense and they all lived up to it. Same for Tebow at UF in the very recent past.

But what concerns me is the(TP) passing I have seen does not thrill me. Lots of lobs and wobbly ducks. Now reports from the 7 on 7 have been good. But I'll believe it when I see it. Until then I must remain somewhat skeptical of his passing ability. And just how much he will play.

I don't think we can be expecting him to drop bombs just yet. But throwing in the red zone I'm sure will be well within his ability.

It only makes sense to speed up the tempo of the offense this year. IIRC, the NCAA is changing the clock rules (yet again) so that they're more like the NFL.

The first is the implementation of a 40/25-second play clock, similar to that of the NFL. At the end of every play, the 40-second clock will start, which is the rule in the NFL. The old college rules featured a 25-second clock that did not start until the officials marked the ball ready for play. On a change of possession, the first play will be run on a 25-second clock.

A number of college coaches have said they wanted the 40-second play clock because officials from league to league used different amounts of time to mark the ball ready for play.

"We think this will give us some consistency when it comes to pace of play," said Connecticut coach Randy Edsall, who is a member of the rules committee.

"If the NFL boys are doing it we seem to want to do it, too," South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said. "I think it favors the teams that run the no-huddle. That gives the quarterback a bunch more time to stand up there and read the defense."

There's no room for 5-10 yd passes on his highlight reel, with his 4-6 huge TDs every week.

Besides, he doesn't have to fire pinpoint lasers to make plays. He's not taking over for Boeckman, he's a change-up.

But I'll believe it when I see it. Until then I must remain somewhat skeptical

His mechanics need plenty of work, as do other aspects of his passing, but you talk like we're putting a faster Nick Sheridan out there.
