4. Ohio State - Even though most of the nation doesn't want to admit it, Ohio State is going to be pretty good next year. And much to many people's dismay, there's a very good chance the Buckeyes could be playing for a third straight national title. I may not want it, you may not want it, but it's reality. They're loaded with talent - Todd Boeckman, Chris Wells, James Laurinaitis and super-recruit Terrelle Pryor who could take on a Tim Tebow-like role this fall. Previous: 5

I know I need to get used to it but stuff like this sickens me. A national media outlet flat out telling the country it roots against particular teams.

2. USC - Only question to be answered is who will be the quarterback: Mark Sanchez or Mitch Mustain? Pete Carroll said he'll name a starter after spring practice ends. But considering the plethora of talent Carroll has for yet another season, as long as Sanchez or Mustain doesn't throw four picks per game the Trojans are going to be a national title contender, as usual. Trojans still possess the best talent in the nation. Previous: 1

We may have something to say about that. And their only question mark is QB? This moron needs to do his homework. They've lost some key players on both sides of the line too.

20. Pittsburgh - The pressure is on Dave Wannstedt. He keeps bringing in these highly rated recruiting classes, but doesn't have much to show for it on the field. But off of that impressive win over West Virginia in the season finale, and the duo of LeSean McCoy and Pat Bostick leading the offense, there's reason to be very optimistic. Panthers' defense should be strong. Previous: 24
21. Florida State - This is Drew Weatherford's offense so he doesn't have to worry about looking over his shoulder anymore. He got hurt during spring practice, but should be fine for the fall when he'll have RB Antone Smith and WR Greg Carr to work with again - just do us all a favor and don't strictly throw jump balls to Carr every play. The Seminoles showed some glimpses last year of once again being one of the ACC's best. Previous: 23

Simply laughable.

I like how the media makes it sound like they didn't vote us into the title game. The computers had us #3. Oh well.
Some of those teams I agree with, some are laughable, like you said. Not sure how good Penn State is going to be.

Why the hell is Oklahoma so high?
They are the most overrated team this year, I swear.

It's CSTV - besides the fact that virtually no one who doesn't have DirecTV gets the channel, it's also owned by SECBS.....

2008 Preseason Poll: Rankings and Discussion (official thread)
I say we'll be no lower than 3rd, maybe as high as 2
I expect the 1st poll to be as follows:
1. USC
2. Georgia
3. Ohio State
OSU & UGA may flip-flop spots but the media loves USC so I am pretty sure they'll be #1....
What do you guys think?
Go BUCKS!
