For some reason (I know Clarke is smaller...) I can't help but think Malcolm Jenkins when he has the ball in his hands. It's probably an awful comparison but his high school uses him like tOSU uses Jenkins.

From the Pitt site...has offers from Maryland, Virginia, Navy and Richmond. OSU and VT have been by his school. Talks about visiting Pitt for a junior day.

Might just be that the interview was done prior to the offer...

There hasnt been much out of the Hunter or Banks camp regarding OSU of late.. so im not too sure where we stand with them

From the OSU site...more on the OSU offer...Stanford and BC also offered yesterday. Looking at a June or July decision and talks about the process and the increased attention he is receiving.

Dominic left no doubt about his supremacy in the 200 and 400. His run of 22.64 was nearly a half a second ahead of second place and his 49.32 was a second ahead of second place.

Dominic Clarke won the 200- and 400-meter run titles and was on the winning 1,600-meter relay team at the Frederick County Track and Field Championships last Saturday.

At the meet, he said that he was particularly happy with his 400 time, a personal best. And Clarke -- who's also a Division 1-recruited running back -- did it in front of an important guest.

"If you look up there (in the bleachers)," he said, "there's a Stanford coach."

Talks about Dominic's athleticism (4.3 forty, 36" vertical), academics (4.0 GPA last semester in honors classes), and on-the-field abilities. No favorites named, but definite interest in Ohio State. Will make unofficial visits to several schools this summer (Ohio State, Virginia, Maryland, Boston College, Stanford), and decide before the season.
