There was too much emphasis on the past and none on the future. Yes, the normal "returning 9 on each side," and "Playing USC," but thats about it. Overall very disappointed in the lack of effort.
I hate ESPN.

Huh? There was no mention of USC. There was no mention of returning 9 on each side. There was little reference to the past, other than as a jumping point for the mantra of '08, MLK's "FUN: Fierce Urgency for Now," which ... uh ... seems to emphasize the present, as opposed to the past or the future.
What video did you watch?

The linked video is shorter than the segment run on SportsCenter last night and this morning. In the segment they aired, they mentioned 9 starters returning on both sides, and talked briefly about the schedule, mentioning USC, and also showing a graphic that listed the games against USC, MSU, Wiscy, Illinois, Penn State, and TSUN.
I didn't have a problem with the segment. It highlighted the Barack Obama FUN slogan as an angle to the story, but Laurinaitis and JT brought that up.
