What would you rather see, an OSU-USC rematch on a neutral field with two healthy teams? Or something different, like OSU-Texas/Big 12/SEC team?

I'm torn...I'd love to see the Bucks playing USC with Beanie, and if we pulled it out the hype for next years game at the 'Shoe would be unimaginable! Talk about the rivalry...3 games in two years between recent powerhouses.

Thoughts, opinions?

Not sure how "neutral" it is playing USC in the Rose Bowl, but I would prefer that to happen, because it means tOSU won the Big Ten. If there is a tie for the Big Ten championship, and another school goes to the Rose Bowl, I wouldn't mind playing an SEC team in a BCS game (maybe at another "neutral" site, like the Sugar Bowl). We have way more ground to make up with USC and the SEC than anyone from the Big XII, so I'd prefer one of those two matchups.

How about the title should be, "If we get to the Rose Bowl." Because I think it is still in doubt if we are going to win the Big Ten. MSU and PSU might have something to say about that. Right now i'm not thinking about who we may play in the Rose Bowl...i'm getting really excited about who we play in three days!!! Beat Sparty!

think even if we can win out our schedule, knock off PSU and move back into the top 10 we will not see the BCS Champ game. But honestly after the whooping by USC I dont know if we are quite deserving... yet. I still think that a Big 12 team, SEC team, and or a USC is going to make the champ game. But if we can make a BCS bowl game and win it we can still be one of the better teams this season. Consistency and desire have been the major questions this year. With the talent and upper class experience we have their is no way that we should be playing this poor on both sides of the ball.

I like the question... I want a team that's highly thought of, but that we match up well with. Oklahoma, Texas or Alabama would fit the bill. I still think we'd have to play a near perfect game to beat Florida or USC.

Until I see some proof that we can run without Beanie and pass with either QB I'd rather not see us play USC, especially in LA. This is not the Buckeye team I thought we'd see this fall. There's a lot of talent coming around in the freshman - sophmore classes, but this is not a team with the talent of '05 - '07 or the heart of '02.

I would love to see a big bowl game at a truly neutral site. I can also probably wait until next year to see USC again....

I'd like to get to the Rose Bowl, but I wouldn't want another matchup with USC. I would have zero confidence in that game, and I'm not sure the current group of players would, either, based on the comments we've heard recently.

I'd rather go up against a Big 12 team (I'd love to go up against Missouri) or SEC team than USC again.

EDIT: Also going to throw this out there - we're not getting to the title game, no ifs ands or buts at this point.

If we don't get to another N/C game, I would like to see Ohio State come back to Florida to play in either the Outback in Tampa or the Citrus in Orlando. They haven't been down this way since 2002 when the Buckeyes played the Gamecocks. Its only 3 to 4 hours away from where I live to get to those games. The Buckeyes have an incredible following of Alumni's here in Florida.

i was working with the given parameters. i don't hope we go to the outback bowl. i would not be upset to go to tampa though (not team wise, but personally).
