An admission and an apology
Tough game tonight, eh?

Yeah it was. It's been one of those bowl seasons, lots of football but in my mind there was a cloud at the end of it that was this game. To be perfectly honest, I didn't expect much. Even worse, I must admit that when the Buckeyes went up 6-3 and took it into the half, I fully expected a problem/bad play/horrible luck/etc to occur in the 2nd half.

Totally out of stupidity and some frustration, I posted this and I deservedly received an infraction for it almost immediately:

Those stupid comments aren't in the best spirit of this forum that Clarity has allowed us to use or what the mods and Admins have worked to build along with him.

Then, right before our very eyes, this team pulled something that it hasn't had since the Michigan game in 2006. It dug deep, it refused to quit and it pushed back at Texas.

The offense started blocking Texas' defenders and gave TP lanes. Boeckman kept throwing darts and for the most part his receivers caught them. Most importantly, the best offensive player for Ohio State had a concussion and STILL this team had the balls to suck it up and come back and nearly beat the team that SHOULD BE in the Mythical National Championship game ruined by Fox.

I had my moment of weakness and doubted. Shame on me for giving up and worse yet, shame on me for getting entirely too worked up over a game featuring unpaid amateur players who were clearly leaving it on the field.

But kudos to Texas, that was a hell of a game.

And Big Ten, watch out, Ohio State has it's mojo back.

Again I apologize for my stupidity and please forgive me.

It was a great game, except for the final score and the fact that they kept showing that Billy-Ray Cyrus looking, mullett wearing lineman from Texas.

Now I'm off to bed where visions of Colt McCoys mom and girlfriend giving me a threesome, dance in my head.

It's just that, you gave up before the fight even started, it's disgraceful!


Actually, I am just screwing with you, we all have bad nights, you're a good poster, and it's obvious you came in expecting the worst. I'll admit it was tough for me to keep faith in that third quarter, I almost turned the game off and just sat outside, but I wanted so badly to see the Bucks fight back, and they did. I am sure your feelings were shared by others, but no one was as vocal. All I can say is if I get frustrated, I just go and download porn, or call Colts mom and have her talk dirty to me, that usually cheers me up.

Stuff happens dude, and I doubt that there are many, if any here that question your passion and love of this football program.

If I had put into "typed words" last night what I thinking at various times I'm sure that I'd be on "vacation" right along with you. Matter of fact, we may be faced with an empty forum for the next couple weeks if ALL had done the same. Let's be honest here, at 17-6 and no visible sign of of an Offensive heartbeat things looked bleak. The guts and grit that these kids forced out of themselves after that was something I'll never forget. Damn, it was like the first "Rocky" movie whereby we took everything they had, got up off the ground and landed some killer blows, to just fall short on a close "decision."

Anyway, sports fans are very forgiving people, and can't wait to get you back on here, Mike.
