Bigjim. They released the first depth chart yesterday and it had Andy Miller first team and J.B. Shugarts second team. That doesnt mean that it's set in stone but i guess it's as good as anything to go by.

A lot could change by the end of the year and there are three reasonable possibilities right now, hence the scUM game part of my question. |

Looks like Linsley is a lock with Hall and Mewhort on the bubble. O-Zone: Tress said Hall is leaning on the side of playing while Mewhort is leaning towards not playing Definitely something I'll be watching for vs. Navy. |

my fault BigJim...i mis-read your question. if you want a guess for the scUM game...i'll say Shugarts.

Something about Cordle's self-adulation rubs me wrong.. IDK.. Maybe it's just the wording?

Yeah, I would rather have had him tell us that he really doesn't know any of the plays, has missed numerous assignments, and occasionally forgets the snap count because he's deeply entranced by a particular blade of grass.

Cordle can self-adulate himself ( ) all he wants if he's doing a good job. We'll find out Saturday. |

Jim Cordle is one of the most low key, down to earth guys on the team. He is smart as a whip and he knows the playbook better than any of the other guys up front. For him to say he had a great camp and to stake his claim as the RT, to me, means exactly what he said in an honest evaluation of himself.
Some of the posts about leadership and being rah rah guys when it comes to the line speculate that he may not be fit to be a leader, but what I can tell you is that Jim gets along with the other linemen, leads by example, watches more film than most and when other guys have a question about anything on the OL, they can go to Cordle. When I was drawing plays for assignments vs fronts for Coach Bollman, I would do my stuff and have Jim check it before I would take it to Bolls. Jimmy Cordle may not be the loudest guy running around, but he is a solid guy in the locker room, in the film room and on the field. |

I hope you guys are right without a doubt.. My problem is, if he's had such a great camp, why is the 4th captain spot rotating on offense?
