We use our TE's more for that than anything, how is he on getting inside of his man and taking him out of the play? Thats what I'm more concerned with in regard's to the TE unit. |

Stoneburner is a WR. Why? Because he's gonna burn people like a WR, not a TE.

I was watching Buckeye Blitz last night and they were talking about the receivers, Dee Miller said that Thomas has the same size, speed and skill set as Small so OSU will play him ahead of Small since he's younger.

I think Corey Brown might get a serious look as a WR-he showed some impressive skills at the AA game.

I don't get that logic(?). Small, as long as he gets his stuff together, will start. Thomas has done little as a WR.

I guess the way he sees it is that they both will do about the same and it will be more beneficial to the team to have Thomas get the exerience this coming year and progress over the next three, then to have Small play for one year while Thomas sits on the bench. You could probably say that about a lot of postions though, like Sabino and Spitler at MLB.

I wouldnt mind seeing Thomas in the backfield with Pryor doing some option plays or some zone read plays this year. |

Small has a long way to go to earn back people's confidence. Forget about being in Tressel's doghouse, if he gets on the wrong side with players like Pryor or Brewster, he's done as far as pt is concerned. Anyhow, I'm pulling for him as a player and as a person.

BuckeyeXtra - The Columbus Dispatch : Looking for a leader
Who will be the next leader of the WR group??? The article says that Dane and Taurian are quiet guys. So Posey it is! |

baller
i know all you guys loved Robo and Hartline, but did you know coming out of high school Andre Amos was ranked higher in OHIO and NATIONALLY than Robo and Hartline. Sleep on that? So why was he ever moved to CB?

"Small made a couple bad choices along the way, with perhaps skipping classes."
I skipped more (way more) classes than I attended in undergrad and Law School; so, apparently, I'm a sociopath. I'm not buying the character equals attendance logic. Give the kid a break. |
