I just remember JL looking completely lost. Only time in his career I remember seeing that. Actually, just looked for a video of that play and you're right.

I assume you're joking about this part. I don't really think enough people pay attention to/would extrapolate HS to college to consider the UA vs. STA result to be an indictment on Big Ten football.

It was just an unbalanced line: TE-G-C-G-T-T. The TE is an eligible receiver, even though he appears to be lined up as a tackle. The source of confusion should be apparent.

I guess all I can say then was that it was a good play call at the perfect time. We were on our heals and I think I remember LSU running to the line to get this play off quickly.

And LSU hurt us with their TE play all night. When you can't control the LOS, those TE's are gonna get free realese's to do as they please.

Its another reason I'd love to see far more from our TE's, we can recruit those larger athletic guys - we need to use them in the right context now.

Not sure what Hines moving has to do with Sabino? IMO Hines was always a safety...he started last year's opener at SS when Coleman was out.

It's totally possible he could have been this past week in special packages for Navy...I haven't watched the replay that closely yet. His STAR position he normally occupies is in Nickel, and I doubt Sabino has the skill set to play STAR effectively against USC.

Either way Hines is gonna mess some Trojans up this Saturday!

Ohio State's coaches are happy with their starting linebacker trio of Ross Homan (weak-side), Brian Rolle (middle) and Austin Spitler (strong-side).

However, fans often ask about the young ?backers in the program and what they need to do in order to play more. On Wednesday evening after practice, we asked co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Luke Fickell about three players in particular: sophomore Etienne Sabino, and true freshmen Storm Klein and Dorian Bell.

Sabino is all over the field on special teams and if there was an injury to one of the starting linebackers he would likely be first in the game. However, the native of Miami, Fla., isn?t playing quite as much as some fans expected.

Good measuring stick for Rolle going up against a big RB this weekend.

Big game for the LBs in general. Two of Wisky's big four targets in passing are TEs Graham and Kendricks. 40% of their total receiving yards are to TEs.

Having Coleman back will be huge for that reason as well. I've only watched Wisky play MSU so far this year and they loved passing across the middle to the TEs in that game.
