As for the electifiying big 12 offenses, that was because the big 12 had no defense. Statsusually dont lie. I have heard thay here before.
Again, just my opinion, but tv talk is cheap. You think they should go,then vote for them, PERIOD.

What I'm trying to say is that through the media, there is outcry that USC got snubbed, it's happened alot this decade because USC has seemed to find a way to drop a game per season making it more difficult to say they were definitive. I'm not saying USC isn't good, I am saying that as a "media darling" regardless of if you go to the BCSNCG or a BCS bowl or any other bowl, if you get maximum coverage allowable for your performance and situation, I feel it comes across as a "media darling." That's also why I said that I don't know what people do with the votes, they could say to put USC, but vote OU, most people on TV really aren't voting, but that's not the point of a "media darling" to me. Lots of schools are media darlings, I said that before. last year is a terrible year to say "USC didn't make it, see they aren't loved by the media" because you had OU, UTex, UF, Utah, and USC all viable for the spot, like I said before, and many other factors. Of course you beat everyone by an average score of 43-7 after the loss, but it's skewed with performances like 69-0 win over Wazzou, followed by 17-10 against AZst. 56-0 to Washington, then 17-3 to Arizona. We all know that conference play is very difficult, but these are certain reasons, as well as the afore mentioned that voters had a hard time last year. But I'm not talking about last year, more than I am in general. At some point, and what we're trying to convey, is that because of that extensive coverage, because of that favor of USC, they'll catch a break. And so if USC losses close, 2000 miles on the road with new LB's, QB, O-line in the second week of the season, you won't see the same effect in the end as you would when USC lost at home to a 41-point underdog, or against UO or ORSU. That is a media darling in my opinion, but USC performs so it's not completely unwarranted.
As for Big 12 offenses, regardles of if the conference fields defenses or not, were you entertained? Didn't you watch the 45-35 UTex-OU game, or the 33-31 UTex-TTech game? The point being, people want to be entertained. I loved watching them light it up, I like a defensive battle too. It's hard to vote against a team that can put up an avg. of about 40 points a game, regardless of any play of defense or not. It's hard to vote against a team that scored the most pooints in CFB history, regardless of competition.
