Jersey question

Mods- please move/remove this if it's too off topic.

I would love to find a #2 Jersey, but since my favorite Buckeyes are/were Cris Carter and Mike Doss, does anyone know where I might get one with the "old" stripe pattern?

Even Nike's "legends" jersey for CC"legends" jersey for CC is the new format. Arrrrgggh.

When I do a google images search of Chris Carter, it looks like the jerseys that he wore have the stripe that is similar to today's jersey, before they switched to the gray stripes. Was he there to wear both?

Yea the stripes that Carter wore are similar to the ones used today, hence the reason that the legends jersey uses them. (They use the grey stripes for people like Archie and Eddie who had the grey stripes)

Thanks...

That's really helpful!

But wasn't Doss around during Grey Stripes era? That's the look I'm after.

Its going to be quite canny to see "Carter" (in 2009) on the back of a jersey that resembles Cris Carter's from the 80's.

I wonder what jersey Carter will be wanting since "2" is taken by Pryor, maybe "22".

I heard Carter might get 2, and that Pryor was willing to switch for him.

If true, that just shows even more that Pryor is a leader. To be willing to give up his number for a younger guy is awesome! Usually its the attitude of "age has its privy's".

Should Pryor switch numbers, he can be at ease that legendary Buckeye Troy Smith switched numbers in his career at OSU.
