Therefore, your conditional part of your original statement was so unlikely to happen that it rendered your entire post of no consequence. Just admit that your original post was ridiculous--you've been backpedaling for long enough here.

I can comprehend a conditional statement. And I can also comprehend when the conditional part of such a statement is so unlikely to occur that it renders the entire statement worthless in terms of predictive value.

Your post was no more informative than someone like me saying if I walk on next year to the Buckeyes as a QB and perform really well, then I'll be the starting QB for OSU mid-way through the fall. Is the conditional part of the sentence possible? Technically it is, I guess, because I still have eligibility remaining. But is it unlikely? Of course, astronomically so. So is making such a statement in the first place entirely worthless? Yep.

Same goes for your post--the odds of Masoli turning pro after his junior year are, for a plethora of reasons, astronomically low. Accordingly, the post has no redeeming value.
