Don't mean to interrupt the debate about the success of short QB's in the league, . . .
but the recent development of Tee Martin taking the New Mexico coaching position instead of Oregon is IMHO, huge for the recruiting of Boyd!
Anyone like our chances at Boyd better now that he and his family will not be influenced by the presence of personal advisor Tee Martin at Oregon?

Not sure if I'm reading this right but his height WILL have something to do with it. Whether you want to factor in his skill set at the time his height will NEGATIVELY have an effect on his draft status, period.

Now I get your point about him leaving if he feels he is ready though. I just do not see how you can "black and white" the height issue...especially given the stance you seem to be taking with it.

Anyway, good news about Tee going the New Mexico route, but I'm still not so optimistic.

How does it have no relevance?

While there obviously is a chance Masoli could turn pro there's a better chance that he'll stay for his senior year because his height would make him fall to the later rounds.

He's probably implying that he won't have a fair shot at the NFL due to his height, so he'll stick around all years and enjoy it while it lasts.

You're the one who keeps bringing up random 6' QBs as though they have relevance to Masoli in the NFL.

There are a few superior passers who stick in the NFL despite their 6' stature.
Runners who can pass almost always fizzle out, even when they are faster than everyone on the field (Vick).

Masoli is not a superior passer, nor is he a superior athlete when looking at the NFL.
