Perhaps it's time to look at a new business model for BP? Perhaps a pay model? Maybe some moderate cost for usage from all?

Wow, that really touched me Clarity. You and I happen to be in the same boat in a few ways which I don't really want to state publicly but will write to you about...

I'm only 18 but this site means a lot to me. I visit it more than any other place. It's the only Ohio State site that I go to now because it's just an amazing website with amazing people, and amazing news and discussion.

After reading what you had to say, and knowing that you are one of those 10% like me (you may understand what I mean by that...), and just knowing how much I love this place, I am looking forward to becoming a new donor in the very near future. I've never had the money in the past, but I do now and this is a big part of my life.

Clarity gave me my invite when many of us migrated from another site and provided my first (+) rep !! This site has seen me through a divorce/custody fight, finishing grad school, 3 career changes, and my 2 boys first Buckeye game!!! Very much the highs and lows! Although I've had little time as of late to enjoy our board; I also will make my best effort to join in and take part in a unique and entertaining experience!

For about the past month, I have had to stay in bed for a problem associated with my disability. Last week I started getting up in my wheelchair for a couple hours a day just to check my e-mail and do some business. When I checked my e-mail last week there was one from Clarity telling me to keep my spirits up and how he worried about BP. I know a little bit about what he is going through because I have a relative who has the same problem. Whoever reads this thread and has never donated, please do so because it will make you a better person if you think about all the sacrifices that Clarity has made for this site. He is truly a great human being

Wow, never read this until now. This should be a mandatory read for everyone and I'm upset with myself I haven't seen this until now.

I've been around alot of boards, but for in-depth and honest OSU talk, this is the place. The users and admins here are fantastic. I was planning on getting a Scout membership, but after reading this I'll be donating to the site instead later this month.

It's great to see passionate people do what they love and hopefully this community will continue to allow everyone to do just that. God speed!

I'm fairly new here and I'm a fairly new Buckeye fan I'm only 17 but this is the best forum I think I've ever seen. Buckeye fans are truly top of the line fans. Passionate, level headed and always optimistic. The Buckeyes are quickly becoming my favorite team possibly even more then my beloved Cowboys.

For starters, I am just now catching up on alot of the site's ins and outs due to being out of work. Outside of catching up with family online, this is by far the second most visited site on my list. Thanks to this site I have enjoyed more times at the Shoe than ever before and had the most knowledgeable and straight forward football conversations I could have ever had. I have always tried to do my part to help inform, educate and just simply raise the enjoyment level of the site, but until now I never realized that my contribution was far less than what was needed. I am just hitting the tip of the iceberg in friendships and in comradery that this site produces even though I have been a member for a few years. I hope to reach a point where I can call many of you friends and not just guys and gals from BP. We go thru many times of good and bad together in a manner that even some families don't reach just due to our consistancy and love for the Buckeyes or other teams. I want to personally thank Clarity and all others who have put their heart and soul and precious time to help make this site all it has been and needed to be for all of us. It has been a place for me to dwell before during and after some of the best and hardest times of my life. It saddens me that my personal passion for Ohio State kept me from returning for periods of time after losses because of my selfishness when it should have driven me here immediately. I've grown up in this wonderful city (Columbus) and regardless of whether I stay forever or leave for unforeseen reasons I truly believe that BP will always go with me. I will do whatever I can to continue and help push the site forward and make it the best it can be. That's what a solid and upstanding person would do..... That's why I'm a Buckeye.
