Obviously it's difficult to keep quality coaches. I can understand why one would want to work with the Packers Organization, especially for more money. The Browns, however, are another story, I think you'd have to pay me 3x the money to work in Cleveland rather than with the Buckeyes.

Nah.. it's totally different atmosphere...
In Columbus you have to meet a certain expectation or you suck. In Cleveland, you just have to do better than the [censored]ty guys before you. Could you imagine the status of these coaches if they were to bring Cleveland to the SuperBowl in the next 5 years? lol.

I hope they both stay because they would be tough to replace at this time and they are both very good coaches. I had the chance to hear Hazell speak at the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association clinic and the guy knows his stuff and does a very good job of teaching it. We need to keep these two.

Amen. As a lifelong Browns fan (from the white helmet, Otto Graham to Dante Lavelle era) it's sad to see how far they have fallen from the promise of their first two years back. For a coach this seems like an assignment to Siberia as oppossed to a step to a headcoaching assignment. The team you go to has to win in order for you to move on and up. I thought he (Tucker) did a phenominal job. By the end of the season that was as good a defense as you were apt to see despite all the injuries.

These would be two HUGE losses if we did lose these guys. I sure hope it's not b/c our administration will not increase their salaries (I have a feeling we could afford it).
With that said, these guys are really good at what they do. There's a reason both of them are mentioned in coaching circles for their position, and were featured on Nike.com's flash piece with top coaches.
