A-Holebrook's salary
From this morning's Dispatch:
Karen Holbrook ranks 12th in the nation in compensation as president of a university at $527,252.00. After her raise this year, her total compensation will climb to $539,252.00 this year. She will be 10th on the list this up coming year. Why are we paing this broad so much to destroy our traditions and divert scholastic money to research?

Hey, we can't become a "better" ranked undergrad school if we don't spend more on research every year, despite that having nothing at all to do with undergrad education...
I blame US News for creating phony ranking that have more to do with budget than education, and the trustees for buying into it
