Thanks for the good reading. SI obviously doesn't have the same hate-on that BSPN has.

ESPN will be (and already has been) on the Ginn train forever. No news agency would dream of not praising Ginn. I think he's had the one of the top 4 ESPN-run pontiac game changing performances at least 2-3 times now.

We need to never retire the #7...it seems to have been only on the best players for the past decade or so. Too bad the NCAA won't let us just suit up everyone in the #7. But for real...if Ginn stays four years like some of you say he will because of his father, then he could break so many records and maybe be the best Buckeye to wear any number, not just #7. But that's a long ways away.
Speaking of best players in the country...is anybody worried about Jason White winning the Heisman? I mean...this guy is no Archie. I just can't imagine seeing the award going to this guy twice...but who else would it go to? |

I just guess i'm [censored]ed, because White folded at the end of last season. He was not the best player in football last year...and it's hard to say that he is this year. I think a guy like Reggie Bush is better.

Very true. He actually was around during the Robert Smtih era in question on ESPiN, I'm surprised they didn't go to him as a key witness since he obviously has a lot of people working for him to play for over 15 years.

Didn't Jason White play high school football with Emmitt Smith?

Campbell and Peterson are both more worthy candidates than White is. Benson is a heaping pile, Bush isn't even the starting RB on his own team. In Bush's defense though, he is much more than just a running back, and could be starting at RB or WR for most teams in the nation. White proved that he was an undeserving puke last year, and shouldn't even be invited to NY this year.

Do you guys think he is going to stay primarily an offensive player? I would like to see him move to defense, and be an every once in a while type player on offense. Youboty looks good, but Underwood got beaten badly this year, it may be maturity, but wouldn't it be nice to have him lock down the reciever he has. Opens up all kinds of blitzing opportunities.
We could still bring him in for special plays, and he still could return punts and kickoffs, but don't you think we will see him at Cornerback next year? |

I'd really rather see Ted stay on offense. It's almost scary to think how ridiculously powerful our offense could be with a solid RB, Troy Smith, and Ginn and Homes.

I'd like to see Teddy replace Mo Hall next year on ko returns.
He NEEEDS to be a full time offensive player. Teams will plan their defense to stop him, which will make it much easier for Holmes, Gonzo,Hall, Lyons, Dukes........ and on and on. I do think it would be interesting to see him play a little D, but not at the expense of reducing his offensive playing time. It certainly is a great problem to have though. |

FWIW, Conley said in his chat today that he thinks Teddy will be starting opposite Ashton next fall. Looks like OSUGrad21 had the question....
