Yea, that's if anyone is stupid enough to punt to him. I forsee a lot of 30 yard punts going out of bounds in the next 3 years

Count me as one who believes that AJ is most deserving to be an AA, but I just don't see it happening this year.
There would definitely be a conspiracy if Nuge is denied though.

With all the tackles AJ had and some key INTs, he deserves it. He was preseason AA and he did all he was expected to. Reynolds and Hawk could be the two best in the country right there.

While Teddy deserves 1st team as return man, I fear that some teams will put Reggie Bush as their return man. If there's only one 'kick return' spot, the yardage added together would allow them to justify Bush. They'll want him on their teams, and Benson, Peterson, and Arrington will get the 1st team RB spots.
Hopefully some teams specify PR separately from KR.

While not as exciting as watching Ginn take a punt all the way, the fact that we can gain 10-15 yards in field position on each punt exchange is really going to help us out the next few years...

Hawk will be an AA, beyond a shadow of a doubt. It remains to be seen, however, whether he will be first team or not.

AJ Hawk finished the 2004 regular season with 136 tackles according to NCAA.ORG that is good enough for a 4th place ranking on tackles per game. His 136 is currently 3rd for total tackles Only Harrison of Eastern Michigan and McGarigle of Northwestern have more tackles.
If AJ doesnt make at least 2nd team, something is dreadfully wrong with the way AA's are handed out.
