Does anyone actually think ND will ever join the B10?
Look at the $, skip the fluff and go straight to the $. ND is all about it. I don't think the other conf teams would cave into consessions presented by a "none-to-eager" domer contingent.
Unless NBC dumps the ND football gig I don't think ND will ever agree to the B10.
Thoughts?

I seriously doubt ND will ever join any conference. They may have if they did not get Ty Willingham as a coach (or another good coach). With him as their coach they will become a contender, maybe not a strong contender but they will still have a chance every game. That alone will keep NBC renewing the TV contract. You nailed it when you said they are all about the money.

The only way I see ND joining a conference is if NBC decides to try to get back into NFL coverage. They'd have to pony up some heavy cash to get it off of CBS or Fox. Maybe if the put up so much, they would be more inclined to part ways with ND. At this point, ND is all they have, so they have to keep renewing.
Notre Shame is definitely all about the cash. But hey, I'm sure
we would love to have our own network , too, so we don't have to share with all the bottom-feeders .

I say screw 'em. They had their chance at the Big 10. If they lose their NBC money and come knocking on the B10's door I say tell 'em to go to He!!. Besides I just hate the Domers. Not the kind of hate where I watch the game and root for them to lose. The kind where if I see two seconds of one of their games I shut the tv off and take a shower 'cause I feel dirty. One thing that my Dad taught me was that those self rightous, touchdown Jesus having eggheads are the monkey pox of college football.

I agree with KSB: Screw'em they had their chance. I think they have seen what has happened to Penn St. since they joined the big ten  If the Domers joined us I can only see them competing for a B10 title every 5 or 6 years. They have a better shot at making a BCS bowl as an independent.

I agree things would have to change for them, if they were to consider comming over. I would like to have them in the conference, however I don't want a conference champ game... so if it was them comming over with the game or them not comming over without the game I'll go with the latter...
