Prep Focus-Waiting on Draft (Joe Bauserman) - Tallahassee Democrat
There is a News article posted on the from page about Joe (from today). Sounds to me (from what was written) like he is inteested in playing Baseball. His info is about 1/2 way down the page. |

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the baseball draft. If someone finds out where Joe is drafted please post it here.
Hopefully we will soon know whether he is headed to C-bus or to a minor league park near you. |

I went to Oakwood High School in Dayton with Rob Corrado who got taken in the fourth round by the Yankees in 99 and he didn't get offered over a million and he bolted for UK. He was a right handed pitcher as well.

I don't see any way he comes to OSU. He should get around $300-350k. Pittsburgh may even throw in a little extra to convince him to go the baseball route. Last year's #112 pick got a signing bonus of $285k. At the amount, he'd be crazy not to at least give baseball a shot. He can always come back to college.
We better start looking at a few more QB's, especially if we want to take 2 this year. |
