with teachers fixing grades and tutors doing their work for them id hope we would do well! 
yeah, that doesn't really help espin's grade fixing allegations does it? i remember one of the commontators from either the 02 or 03 season was going to read a question from one of krenzel's mid terms during the broadcast. i say "was going to" because he never actually did. he was unable to pronounce half the words in the sentence. that damn krenzel, skatting by on the easy classes hehehe. |

Congrats to all of the student-athletes. I saw something the other day that said Stan White was going to apply for a Rhodes Scholarship next year. Have we ever had a football player who was designated a Rhodes Scholar?

In 1985, Flanker Mike Lanese became the first OSU football player to win a Rhodes Scholarship. In addition to being a Rhodes Scholar, Mike was a team captain along with Keith Byars and Thomas "Pepper" Johnson in 1985.
