Ty to Wash = OSU Title?
With Ty going to Washington and giving Pete a little more competition out west, not only will it be another tough game on USC's schedule in the future but Ty may be able to steal a few recruits from Petie and give everyone else in the country a better chance to play in the title game and even out the recruiting game.

That is an interesting theory, it may prove true down the road, but in the near future it will not. I think that Carroll will be gone before Willingham will be able to get his program together.

I wouldn't necessarily say that he is a bad coach. He just did not get the recruits that he thought that he would at ND, plus the Irish did not give him time to build a program. He did pretty well at Stanford.

Whew, I thought this thread was going to argue that Willingham to Udub meant a title for OSU because OSU won a title the last time Willingham took a new job (2002 Ty to ND)

Sadly, I think that argument carries more weight than the idea of Willingham taking down Southern Cal for us.
