I'm going with 3.

It is my fondest hope that the Buckeyes can both pass and run effectively, and that they are able to score RUNNING td's. Those have been sorely missed recently.

I'm going with 2, but I think How many INTs he throws (and if he fumbles) will have a bigger impact on the game.

i picked 2 because i dont think you wanted to count INTs returned for scores

Zwick NEVER had Ginn (dropped balls, didn't run good routes, still learning system when Zwick was in) or Gonzo back then. This game will be much different. It would be hard for Zwick not to get at least two touchdowns. 3-4 is not really a stretch considering what our three receivers can do catching 10-15 yard passes and turning them into TDs. I'd be shocked if we didn't put up at least 3-4 TDs (1 defensive or special teams) in this one. Add on one first half FG, and then once the game is out of reach, Tressel lets Nugent try a 60 yarder since there is no wind in a dome. ![]() |

I feel that justin will come out with a sense of urgency, and will hold nothing back. i say he throws for 275yds 3 td's 1 int. durring this he will connect with his favorite target santonio for 7 catches 160 yards and 2 tds
well i could be wrong, but heres to wishful thinking |

By your calculations if we put up 3-4 TD's and one of those is a defense or special teams that leaves the offense 2-3 TD's. If you think we have zero rushing TD's then I could see 2. If we but one rushing TD we are down to 1-2 passing. My prediciton holds water even with YOUR assessment. Funny how that works huh? |

I stand corrected. Good work using logic when all I did was do a knee-jerk prediction without much thought. Touche.
I just feel like we can put up 4 tds on this team, since their D line is pathetic, their LBs are so so, and their dbs are supposed to be short and are predicted to have trouble staying with our WRs. I still think that Zwick is going to surprise a lot of people. I don't expect to see Peyton out there, but I think he'll have a big day early on thru the air, and then depending on the tempo of the game we'll switch to running it down their throats more to milk the clock. If it's close midway thru the 3rd quarter, then I think Zwick keeps throwing and gets 3 tds. If we take control at halftime and never relinquish it, I think he throws for 2 first half tds, then we pound it down their throats with Joe and Pittman. I apologize for the hostility earlier. I'm the biggest Smith fan in the world, and have called out Zwick's suckiness many times, but I really get upset when it seems like people are sure he's gonna blow. That's where my response came from. Plus you won the argument by breaking down my numbers anyway. |
