As reported in another article by the Wisconsin Rivals site, Rob was in Wisconsin this past weekend for their junior day. Given Daven Jones committment to Wisconsin, the Badgers will obviously try to be a player for Rose. He currently holds offers from Akron, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.

3/16/05 Coach Ginn says that Rose is just a pup and has a lot to learn and needs to learn how to play in space better but says he has a lot of upside. Coach Ginn says he is a defensive end in college. He has offers from tOSU, Michigan State and several MAC schools. |

I'm telling you, I watched Rob twice and the kid stood out in both games at DE. His an absolute bull at the position and just makes plays. If he isn't comfortable playing in space then like coach said, DE is his future....although if he ever learned, he would be one NASTY LB. To say the least I am very impressed with Rob's potential. IMO, Rob was the best player I saw last year on Glenville's team (yes includes Jam). I think the reason he isn't garnering the other "big" offers is because he seems destined to tOSU. Ray is different story though....call me pesstimistic, but I think Tress and crew will have to work a little to get Ray. That being said I still like our chances.

3/31/05 Rose, 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end from Glenville High School in Cleveland also claims four scholarship offers, Michigan State, Ohio State, Miami of Ohio and Akron. Rose is only being recruited for defense. Education, a good program and a family atmosphere is key for Rose. |

4/6/05 Rose says he has no leader but favors Ohio State (offer), USC, Michigan, Michigan State (offer) and Iowa. He doesn't know much about the schools except for OSU. Robert says all the schools are even at this point and will sign on National Signing Day. He has a 3.0 GPA and will take the ACT in May. |

4/25 Robert again impressed at the VT Nike Camp. His physical stature was the talk of the camp and it was noted he could add 20 more pounds easily. There was also talk of TE possibilities. It was also noted that getting him away from tOSU will be tough. |

That picture alone is unreal but in the videos, Rose looks like a man amongst boys out there AND he was only a Jr. A 16-17 yearold youngman shouldnt be his size and definitely shouldnt be able to run that fast. If his 40times are as reported, look out. Lets hope the Glenville Train keeps stopping at the Buckeye Station!!! WooWoo!! With our DE haul last season, we might only take 1 this year but with him, I don't know if you need another. It would almost be unfair. |

5/18 Rob has picked up offers from LSU and North Carolina. His top 5 is now Ohio State, USC, LSU, Michigan, and Miami (FL). Rob says all of the schools are even, tOSU is recruiting him the hardest, and he respects JT for being honest with him and not selling him the usual lines in recruiting. |

Without getting ahead of myself, i love it when these studs get other schools involved such as USCum, cryAMI, etc...just to break their hearts. not saying this is the case with Rose, but it'd be a darn shame if he was sold on some used-car salesman line, on going somewhere else and then wishing he had made the right choice in the first place. Rob, this is your family, your school, your calling that you are looking for. I wish you luck anywhere you go, but talk to Ted, JamO, CT, Troy,....they will tell you anything you wanna know. We will have a perennial power USCum only wished about with players like yourself. Go Bucks
