Per the latest Rivals update Worthington is leaning towards a top 5 of Alabama, Penn State, LSU, Tennessee and Ohio State. Later in the article he claims Syracuse is his slight leader. Gotta love it

The Insiders now has video of Worthington. The first thing that jumps out at you is his size. With his frame it would not surprise me to see him put on a little weight to play both inside and out. His listed height appears to be legit. He has a good motor and pursues well from the back side. He dropped in coverage on a few plays and didn't look out of place doing it and that's saying something for a kid who's 6'7". He tackles well and doesn't shy away from contact. There are times when he could get off blocks a little better but that will come with technique and experience. I'd probably rate him a little behind Alaeze but he's definitely a very nice looking prospect.

Insiders Premium
Worthington is not ready to list any favorites, per the latest Insiders update, but a recent visit from Ohio State coaches at his school has increased his interest in the Buckeyes. |

Worthington Returns from OSU Camp - Rivals premium
This weekend, defensive end Doug Worthington (6-7, 256) from St. Francis High in Athol Springs, N.Y., camped at Ohio State and also got a tour of the campus. He talks about what kind of impression the Buckeyes left, who might be leading now, his summer plans and where the Nittany Lions fit in to all of it... Anybody care to fill us in? |

Ohio State leads
![]() It seems he was pretty blown away by everything he saw in Columbus. He still likes Penn State and is visiting there this summer but he's been there before so it's not like there should be any surprises. He's going to take several more visit this summer including one to scUM. |

He says we lead with Penn St. right behind.
He was extremely impressed as evidenced by this quote, "It’s hard to believe this could be a place that I could come to." |

Chris Nida of BSB on Doug Worthington (6/29/04)
Similar to the Penn State article from earlier today. Doug was at the OSU-Purdue game last year, so he's obviously been interested in the Bucks for a while now. |

Watched his video and I agree with the above breakdown. His size is definitely what stands out the most and his speed. Great motor. Seems to have some nice ball skills and drops into coverage well ala Will Smith. Has stated he looks up to Will Smith and to me he looks like a skinny version. What better way for him to pay tribute to Will than to sign with his old team? I hope OSU can ride this wave of momentum. He has been my personal #1 DE prospect with regards to OSU for about 3 months now.
