Offer confirmation in an article from Gary Housteau. Browning states that he is very excited about the offer. He will likely take his official visit to tOSU with teammates Ray Small and Robert Rose.

Browning has addressed his weight issue in high school and hopefully that will continue, much like Marcus Green and Steve Rehring, once he gets to Columbus. Browning looks noticeably lighter this year. In the end the Clarke comparison might be accurate but I'm not sure it's a fair comparison right now.

Clarke was a pretty good player, even when he was overweight (he did have 43 starts during his career). Obviously, he was best when his weight was well-managed.

Wasn't trying to say Clarke was a bad player, but do I think he could have been better if he got in better shape early in his career, like it appears Browning is doing while still in high school? Absolutely. As I recall he was playing pretty well for the Eagles in the preseason of his rookie year before getting injured and probably was going to make the team as a 7th round pick. Not too shabby.

Regardless of his talent, Browning is a terrific student and young man. He would be an asset to The Ohio State University on all fronts. Hopefully he joins his fellow Tarblooders in the S&G!!
